Heritage Pakistani orchard at sunrise
Our Story · Since the 1960s

Three generations of
Multan’s soil.

Led by Malik Muneeb Altaf — Founder & Chief Executive. From a single Chaunsa orchard in Shesha Basti Talab to a six-vertical agricultural trading house. Same family, same land, same standard.

Mission

Why we exist.

To carry Pakistan's agricultural heritage to the world's tables — at international quality standards — while equipping every kissan we serve with authentic FFC khaad, certified seed, and Wanda-grade feed at a fair price.

Vision

Where we are going.

To become Pakistan's most trusted single-source agricultural trading house — where a Toronto importer and a Multan kissan can both pick up the phone and reach the same family, by name, with the same standards behind them.

Goal · 2030

What we measure.

Programmed weekly mango departures to 20 international markets, 1,000 authorised sub-dealers across South Punjab, and free WhatsApp advisory to 100,000 Pakistani farmers — all by 2030.

Origin Story

From a single mango orchard to a national trading house.

Multan is the city that taught Pakistan how to grow fruit. Centuries-old orchards line the Chenab river; the soil is alluvial, the summers reach 45°C, and the dry desert air gives the mango its high Brix sugar. For three generations the Altaf family has worked this land — first as orchard owners, then as fertilizer and seed dealers serving the kissan around us, and now as the trading house that ships Pakistan’s gold to the world.

We started with mango. Our grandfather planted Chaunsa trees in southern Punjab when the variety was still local-only — long before "Pakistani Chaunsa" became the export term the Gulf supermarkets know today. Our father added the FFC fertilizer dealership when the kissan around us kept asking where the real Sona DAP could be bought — counterfeit DAP was wrecking yields across the district and we wanted the kissan to have a trusted address. Two generations later we added Punjab Seed Corp seed, ICI Wanda livestock feed, and finally the export operation that ties it all together.

Today the operation is led by Malik Muneeb Altaf — third-generation steward, founder of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd., and the name behind every order our reefer container ships and every bag of khaad our dealer-network sells. The structure is unusual: most Pakistani agricultural businesses pick a single side of the trade and stay there. We serve both because the kissan and the importer are the same conversation, just in two languages.

Our address has not moved in three generations. Shesha Basti Talab, Multan — same family, same land, same standards. From here we ship 4 kg mango cartons reefer-cold to Dubai, supply 50 kg fertilizer bags by motorbike to the village across the canal, and pick up the WhatsApp call from a Punjab Seed Corp regional supervisor and a Toronto importer on the same morning. The work is local and global at once.

Our Values

Four pillars. Three generations of practice.

Heritage

Three generations of Multan soil-knowledge.

We grew the orchards before we exported the fruit. Our grandfather planted Chaunsa when it was a local-only variety; today we ship it under APHIS-grade protocols, but the standard behind the carton is still his.

Trust

Authorised, certified, displayed.

Every brand we represent — FFC, Punjab Seed Corp, ICI Wanda — we hold the authorisation for, and we display the certificate at our Multan branch. Every export bag carries the anti-counterfeit seal. No middleman, no relabelling.

Quality

The expensive way, because the cheap way fails the season.

Hand-graded mango. Hot-water-treated at 48°C. Cold-chain at 8–12°C. Government-certified seed only — never the mandi's untagged seed at half the price. The kissan and the importer are equally hurt by a bad bag; we won't ship one.

Reach

One family. Two continents. Same standard.

From the village across the canal to the Toronto distributor — we run a single operation that picks up the WhatsApp call from both. The kissan and the importer are not two different businesses; they are the same conversation in two languages.

From the Founder

“Multan ki zameen ne hamein paida kiya — Multan ki zameen hamari guzar hai. Hum sirf is ki nigehbani karte hain — for the kissan, for the world.”

"The soil of Multan gave us life. We are simply its stewards — for the kissan, and for the world."

Malik Muneeb Altaf is the third-generation steward of the Zarkaar family operation. He inherited the original Chaunsa orchards in Multan and grew the business into a six-vertical agricultural trading house — mango and grain exports to 15+ markets alongside authorised FFC fertilizer, Punjab Seed Corporation, and ICI Wanda dealerships serving farmers across South Punjab. His standard is heritage in modern operating clothes: same family, same land, same word — handled with reefer containers, WhatsApp price alerts, and APHIS-grade documentation.
