Dawn reported on 30 September 2026 that the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition’s Agri-Connections conference and expo would run on 1–2 October at Expo Centre, Johar Town, Lahore, on food security and agri-investment. The paper named FAO and IFC as briefers on food safety and on private-sector engagement as the wheat regime changes. That is the report. Zarkaar does not publish a stand, did not announce a speech, and does not treat a newspaper line as a hosting contract.
Lahore is ask-first for the Multan counter. It is not an office. A session about wheat policy is not a licence to export wheat grain. The ban holds. Wheat seed remains a tagged domestic bag. If a later edition is announced, the same rule will apply: we will say so ourselves if we are in the room.
What a Lahore agri room tempts people to ask
The answers are short, and they are already printed elsewhere.
Wheat
Commercial grain export is prohibited. We will not draft a phytosanitary certificate for a cargo we cannot load. Seed for a kissan’s acre is the counter in Multan. The two bags are not the same product.
A foreign buyer who came to the expo
If you buy rice, mango for 2027, corn, cotton, or winter onion, book a video call and name the port. Johar Town is not Port Qasim. We will not open a country desk because a conference badge scanned a Pakistani number.
Fertiliser politics
We sell FFC bags at the Multan counter. We do not announce a subsidy, a rate card, or a Lahore warehouse from a conference panel. Daily prices stay on the fertiliser desk.
Why write the page after the dates
The 2026 edition falls on 1–2 October. People will search the name for the rest of the season and attach exporters to it. This page is the attachment we are willing to sign: we are a Multan trading house, the conference was in Lahore, and wheat grain did not start moving because a panel discussed the regime.
