Fruit Logistica 2027 runs 3–5 February at Messe Berlin. That date sits after mango booking opens on 1 January, before Sindhri closes in mid-March, and well before Chaunsa closes at the end of April. It is the cleanest European week to talk volume, plant health, and air versus sea. It is not a week when fruit is being eaten off a reefer.
Zarkaar does not publish a stand number for Berlin. Germany, France, Spain, and Italy are not desks. A buyer we already serve in the United Kingdom can use Berlin as a meeting city. UK mango
Sea Chaunsa is quoted near 21 days, with a transhipment band of 25–32 days on the specification sheet. The proforma names the routing. Air Sindhri and Ratol is 3–5 days, from about 500 cartons. Your agent lodges UK plant health. We match the phyto. We do not lodge it.
Rice beside the fruit
Basmati into Felixstowe or London is year-round and is not IRRI. Berlin is a fresh-produce fair, so do not expect a rice hall to be the point. If you are already a fruit buyer, we can still open the rice file the same week.
The refusal to repeat in the aisle
No sea mango to the USA, even if a USA buyer is standing on the stand next door. Canada air via Dubai is not USA irradiation. Wheat grain is closed. A preference scheme does not waive hot-water treatment.
What to carry
Last season’s arrival notes if you are a returning buyer, the port you actually discharge, and whether you want gift cartons or a 4,800-carton reefer. Gift cartons are not the reefer program. Artwork for private-label mango is due 60 days before the first ship, which means a February meeting is already tight for a May Sindhri private label.
