Istanbul in December
is not a fruit desk.
One trade calendar says 15–18 December 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center. That is a listing, not our diary. Confirm it before you fly.
A trade calendar lists WorldFood Istanbul for 15–18 December 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center. We have not treated that listing as an organizer’s contract, and we do not publish a stand. Confirm the days on the organizer’s site before you book a flight. If the dates move, the crop logic below still holds for a December meeting in that city.
Turkey on our books is a lint mill country, grouped with Vietnam on the cotton-mills page. It is not a mango desk, not a rice desk, and not an onion desk. December is inside the onion window for UAE and Qatar. It is not a reason to invent a Marmara discharge. Wheat grain stays closed. A food-fair badge does not open it.
What we will talk about if you are already there
Staple, or a port we already serve. Not a new map.
Lint
26 mm is the workhorse. The China program is 28 mm and is not a Turkey program with the city swapped. We do not freeze a cents number in Istanbul. The gin visit, if one is justified, is in Punjab and needs the gin’s yes. We do not own the gin.
Food for a different port
If the Turkish trader is buying for Jebel Ali, Jeddah, or a UK port, say the real port in the first sentence. Rice can move year-round to the desks we have. Mango in December is a 2027 booking conversation, and the book opens on 1 January, eight days after this listing ends. Do not ask the fair to open it early.
Onion
December is a legal month for bulbs. Turkey is not a destination we publish. UAE and Qatar are. A meeting in Istanbul can reserve a Gulf conversation. It cannot load a container to Ambarlı and call it the program.
Treat the date as unconfirmed
Because the date comes from a trade calendar, we will not build a travel plan on it inside this page. Send us the organizer’s page when you have it. Until that link exists, use a video call and name the mill or the real discharge port.
