China means 28 mm.
Nothing past 30.
Specialty on the list is the longer Punjab lot. It is not Pima, not Egyptian, and not a secret grade.
The cotton list says China (specialty). Specialty here means the 28 mm program and above, still Punjab lint, still 170 kg bales. It is not a separate China grade, and it is not a volume claim.
We do not offer staple past 30 mm. That cotton is Pima or Egyptian, not this origin. The 26 mm workhorse can go to Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey. It is not how we fill a China enquiry. Fumigation and the staple sheet still apply.
What to send
The mill’s staple window, the port, and the bale count. A high cube is about 80 bales, 13.6 metric tons. If the window asks for 32 mm, we refuse. We do not stretch a lab number.
Yarn
If the buyer wants yarn rather than lint, use the yarn spec. Count and mill go on the proforma. A China lint page will not quietly become a garment order.
China lint is 28 mm and nothing else
The search “cotton export to China” on this site returns one program: 28 mm and above, still Punjab, still a 170 kg bale, still not past 30 mm. It is not Pima and not Egyptian. It is not fruit, and the Canton conversation does not open a China mango desk. Micronaire, strength, and trash use the same published bands as 26 mm. Staple length is what changes.
A high cube remains about 80 bales. Fumigation is at bale stage. The lab sheet is the staple proof. A visual “it looks long” is not a specification. If the mill window says 32 mm, the answer is no. If the buyer wanted yarn, the count goes on the yarn spec instead of being implied from this bale.
