Saudi rice from Zarkaar carries Halal on every lot. Retail packs add SASO paperwork with the artwork before the container is stuffed. The grades to name are basmati, including Super Kernel and 1121, and IRRI-6 for volume.
Demand rises six to eight weeks before Ramadan. Discharge is Jeddah or Dammam. A label that calls IRRI “basmati” will be refused. The mill is in Punjab. We do not own it.
Two programs
Premium retail is a 5, 10, or 25 kg bag at about 25 metric tons. Commodity and catering IRRI-6 can be bagged or discussed as bulk from 5,000 metric tons. Say which program you are in.
What this lane will not carry
Onion is not on the Saudi desk list. Wheat grain is closed. UK-bound basmati does not need SASO. Keep the paperwork in the country that asked for it.
Saudi rice, Ramadan and the retail file
The search “import Pakistani rice to Saudi Arabia” splits in two. IRRI-6 is the volume staple, parboiled or white, and you must say which. Basmati and Super Kernel are the aromatic retail grades. Halal is on every lot. Discharge is Jeddah or Dammam. Riyadh is not a seaport.
Retail artwork needs SASO before the container is stuffed, not after. Volumes rise six to eight weeks before Ramadan, so the bag design has to be in that file early. A 20-foot box is about 24 metric tons. A 40-foot box is about 27. Private label is one high cube, about 25 metric tons. There is no published 5 metric ton minimum. Onion is not added because this desk does not list it.
