Super Kernel and 1121 move year-round into Jebel Ali. They are the premium Punjab basmati grades. Zarkaar does not own the mill. Private-label bags are 5 kg, 10 kg, and 25 kg, with a published minimum of one 40-foot high cube, about 25 metric tons.
Onion also reaches the UAE in winter. It rides at 0–4°C. Rice does not share that booking. Halal and the KCCI origin certificate travel with the rice, plus fumigation and the lab sheet.
Grade choice
Super Kernel is the longest, softest lot on our sheet, broken max 3 percent, aimed at premium retail. 1121 sits in the basmati family at about 7.5–8.4 mm. IRRI is available as a commodity and should be asked for by name. It is not the default Jebel Ali retail grain.
Hypermarket weeks
Name the chain, the bag, and the week. A programmed departure is a different promise from one container. Saudi SASO does not apply to a UAE bag. Use the Saudi lane if the shelf is in the Kingdom.
Jebel Ali rice, grade before the bag
The search “basmati to Jebel Ali” is Super Kernel or 1121, year-round, not a silent IRRI lot. Super Kernel is 8.4 mm and longer, broken max 3 percent. The wider basmati book is about 7.5 to 8.4 mm, broken max 4 percent. Moisture is max 14 percent. Zarkaar does not own the mill and does not print a mill name or an ageing certificate.
Private-label bags are 5, 10, and 25 kg at one 40-foot high cube, about 25 metric tons. Plain bags at 25 and 50 kg remain available. Sella, meaning parboiled, exists only when the proforma names that mill run. Winter onion into the UAE is 0 to 4°C and does not share this booking. The port name to write is Jebel Ali, not “Dubai city.”
