How this market actually buys

Pakistani mango enters the USA via mandatory APHIS-supervised irradiation in Dubai. Sea freight not viable for mango due to shelf life. We hold APHIS-approved packaging certification.

USA mango is air via Dubai irradiation. We will not quote a sea reefer to the US for mango — shelf life does not survive it. The importer holds the APHIS-PPQ permit; we hold APHIS-grade packing and the phyto chain. FDA prior notice is your broker’s filing; we send the data pack in time. Specialty basmati and cotton yarn are separate, non-irradiation programs.

Programme and lead times

A confirmed order plans at 14 days to sea dispatch, or 5 days for air. Spot space depends on the vessel. A weekly sailing is not a promise on every line.

Mango on this desk is May through September. Rice moves year-round from stored lots. The new-crop conversation is October through February. Onion is not a standing line on this desk. Cotton follows the ginning window, roughly October through February, and only as the product named here, lint or yarn.

Compliance and quality

Lots for United States leave with the papers that commodity uses: phytosanitary where the crop needs it, Halal on food, KCCI origin, and the treatment or lab sheet for that product. Mango hot water is 48°C for 60–90 minutes. Grain fumigation is the contractor certificate. The document pack goes out before the bill of lading. Your broker files the destination entry. Zarkaar is not the importer of record.
