The claims call is for a lot that has arrived and is wrong. You have 48 hours from discharge to open the file. Bring photographs, pulp or bag temperatures, the seal number, and the delivery note. The loading survey and the seal photographs from Pakistan are the file we already hold. A story told three weeks later at a trade show is not a claim.
We will look at condition, temperature abuse, and a shortage against the packing list. We will not reopen a grade argument that the pre-shipment lab sheet already settled, and we will not treat a late truck in your city as a defect in Multan. Destination charges, duty, and demurrage stay with the buyer.
What the call can decide
Facts that were recorded. Not a new contract.
Temperature
Mango should have travelled at 8–12°C. Onion at 0–4°C. If the reefer download shows a different life, say so and send the file. A warm carton in a photograph, with no download, is a weaker claim. We will tell you that on the call.
Shortage and damage
Count against the packing list. Crushed cartons need pictures before the load is rebuilt. Once the fruit is in your cold store and mixed with another shipper, the lot is no longer the lot we can see.
What we will refuse
A claim that the sea voyage to the USA should have worked. We do not ship that mango by sea. A claim for wheat grain we did not load. A claim whose first notice is a public post instead of this call.
Who sits in
You, and the surveyor who saw the container if you appointed one. We do not conference a whole buying office. Send the documents before the hour so the call is a decision and not a reading lesson. The written claim path is the arrival-claim page. This meeting is that path, spoken, inside the same 48 hours.
