Karachi is a gate.
Arrive named, or do not arrive.
Stuffing follows a booking, a customs declaration, and a cut-off. There is no showroom at Port Qasim.
A loading-week meeting is permission to watch the seal go on your container at Karachi or Port Qasim. It is not a walk-in, and it is not a shop. Stuffing happens against a booking, a goods declaration, and the line’s cut-off. If you want to be there, name the person before the day. A surveyor you hire attends at your cost.
The port authority decides who enters the terminal. A group the pass does not cover waits outside. We do not publish how seals are built or how a lock is opened. The number on the seal, the photographs, and the loading survey are the record. “Ask us to show today’s seal” is the whole method.
What to send before the cut-off
Late names do not get a same-morning pass. The terminal does not care that the flight landed.
The person
Full name, as it will appear on the identification they carry. One crop, one booking. If two containers are different crops, say so. Do not bring a delegation that was not on the message.
The survey
If you want an independent surveyor, name the firm with the booking. They photograph the lot, the temperature, and the seal. We do not hire them for you, and we do not rewrite their report. The arrival claim, if you need one later, starts from this file and has 48 hours at the other end.
What you will not do
You will not retie a carton, open a sealed container on the berth for a second look, or treat the truck park as a tasting room. Mango that needed a tasting belonged in Multan, in season.
FOB still means the ship’s rail
Default delivery is FOB Karachi. Watching the seal does not move the Incoterm to your warehouse. The inland truck from Multan is the line the proforma already named. CIF, if you asked for it, is freight and insurance at cost and still ends at the discharge port, not at a hotel.
Wheat grain will not be on the berth while the export ban holds. Do not book a loading week for a cargo we will not declare.
