A packhouse visit shows grading, packing, and hot-water treatment on a commercial lot. The bath is 48°C for 60–90 minutes. Pre-cool toward 8–12°C follows. We book the hour when a lot is running. We do not fill the tank for a camera, and we do not let a guest operate it.
The useful weeks are the fruit weeks: Sindhri around May and June, Chaunsa from late June through August, White Chaunsa into September. A January visit can see the building. It cannot see the treatment. Book on WhatsApp, with names, a week ahead. The counter is Shesha Basti Talab. Your hotel is your hotel.
What you are allowed to see

Grade
Export fruit is hand-graded. B-grade stays in the local market. You may look. You may not regrade a carton to suit a photograph, and you may not pull fruit out of a packed export lot.
The log
The hot-water log is per consignment. The Department of Plant Protection can witness it. You can see that a log exists for the lot in the tank. You do not take the book home, and you do not get a blank certificate to show a buyer who has not ordered.
USA visitors
Hot water does not clear a sea container to the United States. If that is the question, ask it at the start. The answer will not change because you watched the bath.
Onion and grain are not this tank
The mango bath is not the onion reefer and not the rice mill. Onion moves at 0–4°C after a cure. Rice is milled in Punjab by a mill we do not own. Ask for the mill visit if the bag is the subject. Asking the packhouse to pretend it is a mill wastes the hour.
