Mango air and LCL start around 500 cartons. Grain samples are agreed per grade. Wheat grain is not sampled for export.
A sample review is a meeting about a lot that exists: grade, pack, and condition. It is not a season contract. Mango by air or LCL starts around 500 cartons, about 2 metric tons. A full sea reefer is about 4,800 cartons. Rice LCL, when we accept it, starts from about 5 metric tons on the variety sheet. A handful of grains in a hotel lobby is not that shipment.
Book the review when the sample is in your hands, or at the counter if you are in Multan and we are holding a retained bag. Say the grade in the first line. The proforma, not the tasting note, locks price and freight.
How to run the hour
Compare the sample to the name you ordered. Do not rename it in the room.
Mango
Variety, net weight, and whether the path was air or a reefer. USA fruit, even as a sample, flies via Dubai irradiation. We will not review a “sample” that is a sea container aimed at an American port. Gift cartons are not the reefer program.
Rice, corn, cotton, onion
Super Kernel stays Super Kernel. IRRI-6 stays IRRI-6. Feed corn is 13–14 percent moisture on the sheet, not a guess from a bite. Lint is a staple in millimetres. Red onion is 60–80 mm and white is 50–70 mm, and only inside November to March. Outside that window there is no bulb to review.
A new country
Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore stay names. A sample can test them. It does not publish a desk. Malaysia and Indonesia onion already have pages. Use those instead of a blank tasting.
What the note may say
You may write that the sample matched the grade, or that it did not. You may not write that the season price is now frozen, that freight is included, or that a private-label minimum has been waived. Private-label mango still wants about four containers of that variety. Artwork is a different meeting, due about 60 days before the first sailing.
