Pakistan is one of the world's top five rice exporters and the global benchmark for long-grain Basmati alongside India. Punjab — and especially the Sheikhupura and Hafizabad belts — produces the grain that drives the country's premium rice exports. We ship four core grades: Basmati 1121 / 386 / Super (premium aromatic), Super Kernel (the longest and most expensive), and IRRI-6/9 (long-grain commodity, parboiled or white) for volume buyers. Every consignment is fumigated, inspected for moisture and grain length, and certified by the Pakistan NPPO for phytosanitary clearance.

Quality notes

Grain length, broken percentage, moisture, and aroma are tested at the mill before bagging. Standard tolerances: max 4% broken (premium grades), max 14% moisture, min 7mm grain length for Basmati. We work with three audited Punjab mills and rotate batch testing per consignment.

What's the difference between Basmati and Super Kernel?
Both are Punjab basmati. Super Kernel is the premium of the premium — longest grain (8.4mm+), softer texture, highest price. Basmati 1121 / 386 / Super refers to the standard premium grades widely used in restaurants and retail.
Do you ship rice in bulk or containerised?
Both. Bulk vessels (50,000–60,000 MT) for IRRI-grade commodity programs to KSA and Africa, container FCL for retail-pack basmati to Gulf and Western markets, and LCL for new-market trials.
Can you private-label our retail packs?
Yes — 5kg, 10kg, and 25kg jute or PP woven bags with your brand artwork. MOQ for private label is 1 × 40'HC container (25 MT).
How is rice priced?
FOB Karachi by default. Pricing tracks the Pakistan paddy auction and the international rice index. We update buyers weekly during the post-harvest window (October–February) and on a programmed basis the rest of the year.
What certifications come with each consignment?
Phytosanitary Certificate (Pakistan NPPO), Fumigation Certificate, Halal Certificate, Certificate of Origin (KCCI), and laboratory analysis (moisture, broken %, grain length).
What is the MOQ?
For basmati container FCL: 1 × 20' (≈ 24 MT) or 1 × 40' (≈ 27 MT). For IRRI-grade bulk: 5,000 MT minimum. For LCL: 5 MT bags as a market sample.
