Zarkaar Group, Shesha Basti Talab, Multan. Updated 2026-10-02.

Rice, corn, and cotton from Zarkaar are fumigated at bag or bale stage by an approved contractor. The certificate names the treatment and joins the phytosanitary pack. Grain on the rice page is fumigated before the NPPO inspection that leads to the bill of lading.

The contractor uses methyl bromide or phosphine. This page does not give a dose, a temperature, or a method you can copy in a shed. Mango uses hot water, not this certificate. Onion moves on phyto, Halal, and origin under reefer.

What the certificate supports

Buyers use it beside the lab sheet. Rice and corn quotes still turn on moisture, broken grain, and, where the contract asks, aflatoxin. Cotton quotes still turn on staple. Fumigation does not change a 26 mm bale into a 28 mm bale.

Wheat grain is not fumigated for export while the ban holds. Certified wheat seed on the Multan counter is a domestic bag, not this certificate.

How to ask for it

Name the crop and the destination. The contractor’s certificate is raised for that lot. A sample bag can be discussed. A sample is not a price lock and it is not a full-container certificate.

Bulk and containers

IRRI and corn bulk starts at 5,000 metric tons. A container of corn is about 27 metric tons in a 40-foot high cube. The fumigation follows the lot size you actually book.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which crops are fumigated?
Rice, corn, and cotton. Mango is hot-water treated. Onion is not on this certificate.
Will you publish the dose?
No. Methyl bromide or phosphine is applied by the approved contractor. The certificate is the record. A dose chart is not a service we offer.
Does fumigation cover wheat grain export?
No. Wheat grain export is closed. We do not fumigate grain for a sailing we will not make.
Is the certificate per season or per lot?
Per lot. A new container or a new bulk stem gets its own certificate.
