A sample proves the lot.
It does not lock the price.
Mango air and LCL start around 500 cartons. Grain samples are agreed per grade. The proforma is the lock.
A new buyer can start with a sample or an LCL lot. Mango air freight and LCL begin around 500 cartons, about 2 metric tons. A full sea reefer is about 4,800 cartons. Rice LCL on the variety sheet starts from about 5 metric tons when we accept it.
The sample shows grade, pack, and condition. It does not freeze the season price, the freight, or a private-label minimum. Booking a season is a different page: Sindhri closes mid-March and Chaunsa at the end of April, against a deposit the proforma describes.
What we will sample
The sample has to be a crop we actually sell.
Mango
Name the variety and whether the fruit should fly or wait for a reefer. USA fruit, even as a sample, is an air path via Dubai irradiation. We do not air-freight a “sample” that is really a sea container in disguise.
Rice, corn, cotton, onion
Ask for the grade: Super Kernel, IRRI-6, feed corn, 26 mm lint, red onion. Wheat grain is not sampled for export while the ban holds. Seed wheat is a Multan counter bag, not an export sample.
A new country
Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore do not have desks. A sample enquiry is the honest start if the commodity can move. We do not publish the country page first. Malaysia and Indonesia onion, and the other named lanes, already have rules. Use those pages rather than a blank sample.
