Export mango from Zarkaar leaves in a 4 kg single-layer carton. A full sea reefer holds about 4,800 of those cartons, about 19 to 20 metric tons. Air and LCL start near 500 cartons, about 2 metric tons. The fruit is pre-cooled and the reefer runs at 8–12°C.
Hot-water treatment is 48°C for 60–90 minutes and is a separate certificate. It is not printed on the carton as a substitute for the phytosanitary pack. A USA order uses an APHIS-grade carton and still flies via Dubai irradiation.
Which carton matches the buyer
The fruit can be the same variety and still need a different box.
Retail and wholesale
A supermarket program stacks the 4 kg carton. Private label needs four containers of one variety in the season, with artwork 60 days before the first ship. Do not send artwork in October and expect a 2026 loading. The next book opens on 1 January.
Gift
A gift carton is handed to a shopper. It is specified on the gift-carton page. It is not a bulk bin, and it is not an excuse to skip hot water or the destination permit.
What this page does not count
It does not publish a piece count inside the 4 kg box. Fruit weight moves with the variety and the week. Sindhri is the large fruit. Anwar Ratol is the small fruit. Ask the packhouse for the count on the lot you are booking, and expect that count on the packing list rather than as a permanent slogan.
