Broken grain is a limit.
Not a second product.
The lab sheet records the percent. Zarkaar does not export a brokens commodity, rice flour, or rice bran.
Buyers search for Pakistani broken rice as if it were a grade Zarkaar bags on its own. It is not. Zarkaar sells head rice. The broken percentage is a ceiling on that head rice, measured on the lab sheet for the lot.
Premium basmati is published at max 4 percent broken. Super Kernel is published at max 3 percent broken. IRRI broken grain stays the commodity spec on that same sheet, not a number this page invents. Moisture on all four grades is max 14 percent.
What people mean when they say brokens
Three different requests arrive under one word. Only one of them is a Zarkaar export.
A tighter head-rice spec
If you need less broken grain than the published ceiling, say the percent on the enquiry. The mill either can hit it on the next run or it cannot. We will not promise a zero-broken lot in a slogan.
A cargo of brokens, flour, or bran
Zarkaar does not export 100 percent broken rice, rice flour, or rice bran. Bran for animals is chookar at the Multan counter, inside Pakistan. It is not stuffed for a foreign port.
Where the number lives
The laboratory analysis on the document pack records moisture, broken percent, and grain length for that consignment. A photo of a bag is not the spec. If the arrival sample and the sheet disagree, use the arrival-claim path. Do not open a new product conversation in the claim.
