The world,
as far as the books go.
A desk has a page. A named lane has a page. A name without a program stays an enquiry.
Zarkaar ships mango, rice, corn, cotton, and onion from Pakistan. Six buyer desks have their own pages: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. Each one changes the document or the freight mode.
Other countries appear only where a commodity file already names them. They do not each get a cloned desk. Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore are names on a wider list. They are not desks.
Desks
Open the desk when the permit, the port, or the flight path changes.
- United Arab Emirates. Sea mango in about five days, air in about two. No irradiation on UAE mango. Rice into Jebel Ali.
- Saudi Arabia. Halal on every lot. SASO artwork before a retail rice container is stuffed. Onion is not on this desk. Ask before Jeddah.
- Qatar. Smaller book. Your agent files the permit. Book the week, not only the month.
- United Kingdom. Sea Chaunsa for volume, air Sindhri and Anwar Ratol for gift cartons. Your agent lodges the plant-health certificate.
- United States. Mango flies via Dubai irradiation. We do not quote a sea container of mango. You hold APHIS and your broker files FDA prior notice.
- Canada. Air mango via Dubai for Toronto and Vancouver. You hold the CFIA permit. That hop is not the USA irradiation sentence.
Named lanes, each with its own page
These countries were already in the commodity files. Each one now has a page because the grade, the port, or the rule changes. The short card on the commodity page points here. Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore still do not.
- Malaysia and Indonesia buy onion. The bulb matches. The import rule does not.
- Bangladesh corn and the cotton mills page are two quotes. A feed mill and a spinning mill do not share one.
- Sri Lanka is feed-grade corn. We do not add mango or rice by habit.
- Kenya and Tanzania are rice markets. Basmati moves in containers. IRRI bulk starts at 5,000 metric tons.
- Iraq and Yemen are grade notes, IRRI-6 and IRRI-9. They are not country desks and they are not aid contracts.
- Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey take lint. Yarn is a different line and only when the proforma says yarn.
- China means the 28 mm lint program. We do not offer staple past 30 mm.
- All lane pages and the service pages behind them.
Names we will not promote into a page
Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore sit on a wider list. A swapped city name is not a program. Send an enquiry. Where the commodity allows a sample, the sample is the honest start.
A new country begins the same way. Tell us the port, the commodity, and the month. We say whether we can make it. We do not publish the page first.
