Chookar (Bran).

Wheat bran and rice bran (chookar). Standard ration component for South Punjab dairy farms.

Chookar is bran — wheat or rice — used as energy filler around khal and wanda. It is cheap relative to concentrate and easy to overfeed if you are chasing bulk instead of milk. We stock both wheat bran and rice bran depending on mill run; ask which is on the floor today. Sold by the bag; not a trolley crop like toori.

How this line is sold

Chookar is bran, wheat or rice, used as the energy filler around khal and Wanda. It is sold by the bag. It is not a trolley crop. Ask which bran is on the floor, because the mill run changes. It is easy to overfeed if the goal is bulk instead of milk.

Same-day pickup is Multan city. The named 24–48 hour districts are Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, and D.G. Khan, transport extra. Toori, the straw, stays inside about 50 km and has its own page. The dairy ration is the place that puts all four lines in one shed.

Say wheat bran or rice bran

Both are called chookar, and they are not the same sack. The mill run on the floor changes. Ask which bran is loaded before you send a trolley. It is an energy filler around khal and Wanda, and it is easy to overfeed if the goal is a full trough instead of milk.

The unit is a bag, not a trolley of straw. Export rice is milled grain on the rice desk. Bran stays here. Do not send a chookar price to a buyer who asked for IRRI.
