How to use Sona Zinc
Micronutrient. Apply at sowing or as foliar spray for rice, wheat, citrus.
Application rate
Not NPK and not a DAP substitute. After rice, the published wheat rate is 4–5 kg of Sona Zinc per acre at sowing. Skip it after cotton or fallow unless the field showed the shortage. Khaira on basmati is the pale-leaf symptom. Do not use a zinc bag as a sulphur source. Wheat guide →
Why this bag
Sona Zinc is Zn 33 percent. It corrects khaira on basmati and the shortage that shows on wheat after rice. It is not a phosphate bag and it is not a sulphur program. The FFC seal still has to be on it.
Delivery and payment
Bring zinc with the sowing DAP when the last crop was rice, not as an October spray on a field you are about to cut. Multan city is same-day. The named 24–48 hour districts are listed on the South Punjab page, transport extra. Twenty percent holds the zinc bag rate for 14 days. How the lock works. Delivery list.
What to send
Say whether the field showed khaira or followed rice, and the acres. Do not send a DAP bag count and expect zinc to be inside it. WhatsApp +92 300 0465810.
FAQ
Sona Zinc · Quick answers
How much Sona Zinc on wheat after rice?
The published wheat rate is 4–5 kg per acre at sowing, and only on a rice-wheat rotation. After cotton or fallow, most fields skip it.
What is khaira?
Zinc deficiency on basmati. The leaf goes pale between the veins and the plant stays small. Zinc is its own bag. Doubling urea does not fix it.
Can I use a zinc bag as a sulphur source?
No. That overdoses zinc. Buy the nutrient the crop is short of.
Is there a rice bags-per-acre table on this page?
No. October is not a rice top-dress. The wheat guide is the schedule already published for the crop that follows rice.
