Zarkaar Kissan.
Rates today. Advice when you sow.
Daily khaad and feed prices on WhatsApp, certified-seed recommendations by district, and the sowing calendar we actually use at the Multan branch. Phase 2 tools come in 2026 — the desk is already open.
Zarkaar Kissan is the farmer layer of the same family business that sells FFC khaad, Punjab Seed Corp bags, and ICI Wanda from Shesha Basti Talab. It is not a separate company and it is not “coming soon” for the things that already run: live rates, variety advice, and a sowing calendar.
Phase 2 — district auto-calendars, outbreak bulletins, Urdu voice notes, and mandi price for mango and cotton — is scheduled for later in 2026. Until those tools ship, this page is the public version of what the agri-desk already tells a kissan who walks in or WhatsApps.
Available today
Four things you can use before Phase 2 exists.
Daily feed rate on WhatsApp
ICI Wanda, khal, chookar, toori. Same broadcast, or send SUBSCRIBE FEEDS if you only want livestock rates.
Feed desk →Variety recommendation
WhatsApp your district, crop, and acreage. We answer from the current Punjab Seed Corp bulletin and what is actually on the pallet in Multan — not a catalogue screenshot.
Certified seed →Counterfeit check
Every FFC bag we sell carries the anti-counterfeit seal, batch, and manufacture date. Photograph a suspicious bag and send it; we will tell you if it is ours.

October – April
Rabi
- Wheat
- Sow 20 Oct – 20 Nov (Multan belt). DAP at sowing, urea at tillering and booting.
- Rabi fodder (berseem / lucerne)
- Sow with first irrigation after wheat land is free. Pair with toori + khal through winter.
- Winter vegetables
- Nursery Aug–Sep; transplant Sep–Oct. MAP + boron on order for fruit set.
April – September
Kharif
- Cotton
- Sow mid-Apr – mid-May. 1.5 DAP + 2.5 urea + zinc per acre is the South Punjab starting point — adjust to soil test.
- Rice
- Nursery May; transplant June. Zinc is not optional on basmati in Punjab — deficiency shows as khaira.
- Maize (autumn)
- Sow July–August. Hybrid seed only. Dry below 14% moisture to keep aflatoxin in check.
- Mango orchard
- Zinc + boron at fruit set; urea after harvest. Do not flood-irrigate at ripening.
Windows shift a week either way with canal roster and rain. WhatsApp the tehsil; do not sow off a national TV graphic.
How to get a useful answer in one message
Send all four in the first WhatsApp, in any language:
- Crop and variety if you already chose one
- Tehsil (not just “Multan”)
- Acreage
- Whether you need pickup today or a rate-lock for sowing week
We reply during Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM PKT. After hours, the message sits until morning — do not assume a night-time rate is locked unless we confirm it.
Phase 2 — later in 2026
- District sowing calendars pushed automatically
- Pest and disease notes when a belt actually has an outbreak
- Short Urdu voice notes for farmers who prefer not to read
- Mandi-price feed for mango, cotton, and wheat at harvest
WhatsApp the word KISSAN if you want a ping when those tools go live. It does not change the free rate broadcast.
FAQ
Kissan · FAQ
Is Zarkaar Kissan a paid app?
No. Daily prices and sowing advice are free on WhatsApp. There is no app, no login, and no subscription fee. Phase 2 (district calendars auto-pushed, pest bulletins, voice advisory) is planned for later in 2026 and will also be free.
How do I join the price broadcast?
WhatsApp +92 300 0465810 with the word SUBSCRIBE (khaad) or SUBSCRIBE FEEDS. Reply STOP at any time. We do not sell the list.
Do you visit farms?
For contracted acreage and orchard programs, yes — by appointment from the Multan branch. For a one-acre walk-in, WhatsApp a photo of the field and the crop stage; that is faster than a wasted drive.
Is this a substitute for an agriculture officer?
No. We are a dealer and exporter who also share rates and variety notes. Soil tests, pesticide labels, and extension bulletins still belong to the government agri staff and the manufacturer. We will not invent a spray schedule.
