Rabi on this counter means wheat seed, Sona DAP, prilled urea, and zinc if the crop needs it. Sow wheat in the Multan belt from 20 October to 20 November. Canal roster and rain can shift a farm by a week. Send the tehsil before you copy a date from television.

This calendar stocks our floor. It does not replace a soil test or an agriculture officer.

The order of work

Buy in this order so the sowing day is not waiting on a truck.

  • Tagged wheat seed on the farm before the sowing week
  • DAP at sowing, in the same pass as the seed if that is your method
  • Prilled urea at tillering, then again if the crop still asks for it at booting
  • Zinc as its own bag when the field has shown deficiency
  • A 14-day rate-lock in the weeks before October if the acreage is already known

Fodder and winter vegetables

Berseem and lucerne go in with the first irrigation after the wheat land is free. Pair the winter with khal and, near Multan, with toori.

Winter-vegetable nurseries start in August and September. Transplant in September and October. MAP + boron for fruit set is an order item.

Districts, and the crop we do not export

Khanewal, Lodhran, and Bahawalpur are the wheat districts on our delivery list. D.G. Khan is on that list too, but its sowing date can differ. Ask. Do not paste the Multan date onto every west-bank farm.

Wheat grain is not for export while the ban holds. The bag on this page is seed.

Is this the official Punjab calendar?
No. It is the calendar our Multan counter uses when it talks to farmers. Extension dates and spray labels stay with the department and the manufacturer.
Do you sell wheat grain from this page?
No. This is seed and fertiliser. Export of wheat grain is closed.
Can I lock DAP before October?
Yes, if you will lift it within 14 days of the lock. See the rate-lock page for the advance and the window.
