Feed Corn versus Food Corn from Pakistan

Feed-grade yellow corn is 13–14 percent moisture and max 3 percent broken. Food grade is a separate sheet for milling, snack, and starch. Name it or the box stays feed.

Feed Corn versus Food Corn from Pakistan — Zarkaar resource

A feed mill and a snack plant cannot share one silent specification. Zarkaar exports yellow corn from central Punjab, sourced. The default lot is feed grade. Food grade is what you wrote down.

Feed grade

Feed-grade yellow corn is the poultry and livestock grain.

  • Moisture 13–14 percent
  • Broken kernels 3 percent or less
  • Aflatoxin inside the destination limit
  • About 27 metric tons in a 40-foot container
  • Bulk from about 5,000 metric tons

Zarkaar does not print a parts-per-billion aflatoxin figure. Send the limit your authority enforces. UAE and Saudi mills, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are the feed lanes already published. Sri Lanka takes feed grade only.

Food grade

Food-grade yellow corn is for milling, snack, and starch. It is tighter than the feed sheet. A feed quote is not upgraded after the container is stuffed. If the end use is human, the first message has to say food grade.

What the box will not say

A feed quote is not rewritten as food grade after stuffing. The lab sheet records moisture and broken grain. It does not print a parts-per-billion aflatoxin number. If the destination limit is tighter than the lot can meet, the answer is a different lot or a refusal.

Sri Lanka is feed grade only. Bangladesh is a feed lane. UAE and Saudi mills are feed lanes when the enquiry says feed. Food grade is milling, snack, or starch, and those words have to be on the proforma first.

Season, seed, and drying

October through February is the new-crop conversation. Stored lots can move in other months when the lab sheet passes. A sowing date is not a bill of lading.

Hybrid seed at the Multan counter is for February–March or July–August sowing. That bag is not export grain. Autumn crops in the field now need drying. The kissan note on this site is to dry below 14 percent so aflatoxin stays in check. Drying does not create a public purchase price for every trailer.

There is no FOB number on this page. Ask for the offer with feed or food, tonnes, port, and the aflatoxin limit. WhatsApp +92 300 0465810.
